Our Mission
We are a non-profit organization to support and ease those who have been affected by cancer, the family and friends that have supported them, and those who have lost loved ones to the disease, and to help them heal emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Our Story
Elias Azar's Warriors was founded by Mary Rose Elias Azar, a third year college student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, on June 9, 2020. Mary Rose, her three younger siblings and her mother lost their father and husband to Stage 4 Lung Cancer in September 2018. Their father was the strongest person in their lives and made a lasting impact on the lives of those around him. He was always positive and nobody that met him would ever guess that he was suffering from such a disease; he was truly a hero, and a rock to his family and friends. We are determined to allow his legacy to continue on, and help others heal themselves.
